TEACHER'S MESSAGE:
Wow what a successful Fundraiser! Check out the photos below.
Great job Will! He was able to raise $42.00 for the Calgary Humane Society through his slime sale.
I am still looking to see which students/families would like to meet me at the Calgary Humane Society on Saturday, June 22 to help drop off the donations. I will take the donations in my car but will need help carrying them into the Center. I will be there at 10:30am. I'll be in the white Pathfinder.
HERE IS OUR UPDATE FROM THE FUNDRAISER :
We have collected $428.35 (in cash and cheques) for the Calgary Humane Society. We also collected these items: wet cat food, dog food and treats, collars and leashes, blankets, brushes, cat and dog toys, dryer sheets, bunny chew sticks, beds, a cat scratch post, and a head cone for recovery.
We would like to thank all the Earl Grey families for supporting and donating to the Humane Society. The items will be dropped off on Saturday.
We hope all the students who participated in our Fundraiser had a fun time and learned about being healthy people and helping to keep animals healthy.
From Mrs. Maze's Grade 1/2 class
This is the NOTE I left with the Calgary Humane Society.
Earl Grey's Grade 1/2 class raised over $400 and collected alot of new toys and food for the Calgary Humane Society. Our focus this year was how we (Gr. 1/2 students) can be healthier. This year we had learned choreography to 22 songs and put that to good use! We ran the Gym classes for a full day and asked for CHS donations. It was a fun day and we wanted to collect donations to help keep the animals healthy too!
We also wish NOTHING BUT THE BEST to our friends, William C and Wyatt who are on their way to a new school for next year. We loved having them in our class and know they will make new friends in their new school!

We watched an episode titled, Bald Eagle, an Animated Native Culture Series and wrote how many cultures teach others through oral storytelling. See link below.
